First Korean Celebrity Diagnosed With COVID-19 Discharged From The Hospital 45 Days Later

SUPERNOVA’s Yoon Hak has finally fully recovered!

On May 15, SUPERNOVA’s Japanese agency SV Entertainment took to the group’s official website to announce that Yoon Hak has been discharged from the hospital after he successfully recovered from COVID-19.

Yoon Hak was hospitalized in Seoul since April 1 after testing positive for COVID-19, and was discharged on May 15, the agency stated that it was only possible because of fans unwavering love and support, they promised to work hard so that Yoon Hak can resume his activities, they will also monitor his health.

Yoon Hak also shared how he felt on the website, he said,

“I wish to apologize for causing discomfort and concern to all of our fans and representatives.

I gained strength through all of the encouragement I received during my hospitalization and was able to undergo long-term treatment with a strong heart as a result.”

Yoon Hak is the first Korean celebrity who confirmed to have been diagnosed with COVID-19. He began experiencing symptoms 3 days after returning from Japan on March 24, and was hospitalized since April 1.
