The fierce competition has come to an end!
On June 18, Mnet aired the finale of “Road To Kingdom” with the remaining teams fighting for the number one spot (The Boyz, ONEUS, ONF, PENTAGON, and VERIVERY). Every group performed a new comeback song for the first time live and voting was opened to international fans.
The winner was picked by votes during the final live broadcast, cumulative scores from competition rounds one to three, cumulative views of video clips on Mnet’s official YouTube and Naver TV accounts, and the digital score (according to Hanteo Chart) for each group’s “comeback” song that was released on June 12.
Originally, there was a possibility for two groups to head to Mnet’s upcoming show “Kingdom,” however, if the team with the highest cumulative score over the whole show and the winner of the finale were two different groups, only group will be headed to “Kingdom.”
The Boyz and ONF were the top two candidates and it was revealed that The Boyz won!
