Filming For “Barbie” Soundtrack Music Video Reportedly Canceled Amid Fifty Fifty Dispute With The Agency
Group Fifty Fifty’s Hollywood movie “Barbie” OST music video shoot has reportedly been canceled due to the discord between the group and their agency!
According to industry insiders on the 4th of July, Fifty Fifty was scheduled to film the music video for “Barbie Dreams,” one of the OSTs for the movie “Barbie,” after providing vocals for the song. However, due to the conflict with their agency, Attrakt, the shoot could not proceed.
By appearing in the “Barbie Dreams” music video, Fifty Fifty had hoped to increase their global recognition and secure a spot on the Billboard Hot 100, in addition to their long-term chart success with the main single “Cupid.” However, the discord with their agency resulted in the suspension of their activities, causing Fifty Fifty to miss out on the opportunity. They have filed for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of their exclusive contract with Attrakt and have been unable to fulfill their scheduled activities since the conflict was made public
According to this strategy, Fifty Fifty had planned to shoot a music video for their rendition of “Barbie Dreams” as part of the movie promotion.
Due to these circumstances, Fifty Fifty not only failed to shoot the “Barbie Dreams” music video but also missed the opportunity to participate in events such as the press conference with the “Barbie” cast, including Margot Robbie.
