The following is a statement from the management company, Attrackt:

Hello, this is ATTRAKT.
We would like to provide an update on the health status of FIFTY FIFTY member Aran and her future participation in activities.
Recently, Aran felt discomfort during dance practice while promoting the album ‘The Beginning: Cupid,’ and visited the hospital for treatment and a thorough examination.
Although she had received treatment during her activities, according to recent test results, the specialist recommended surgery for a faster recovery.
We discussed with Aran and her parents for a long time regarding her participation in ‘The Beginning: Cupid’ album activities.
As the artist’s willingness to participate in album activities was strong and would not cause harm to her health, she participated in the activities.
However, for future long-term activities, we decided to undergo surgery after sufficient discussion, and Aran underwent surgery on the morning of May 2nd (Tue).
The surgery was successfully completed, and the artist is currently taking rest and stabilizing.
We will prioritize the opinions of medical professionals and the artist’s recovery for future activities. We apologize for causing concern to fans with this sudden announcement and will do our best to support Aran’s treatment and recovery so that she can meet her fans in a healthy state as soon as possible.
We kindly ask for your understanding. Thank you.

Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY debuted with their EP album ‘THE FIFTY’ last year and completed their activities with their first single album ‘The Beginning: Cupid’ in February of this year.
