The group Fantasy Boys (FANTASY BOYS) announced that they will continue their activities as an 11-member group, stating that Yu Junwon has left without permission.
On the 23rd of August, Funky Studio, the production company of ‘Boy Fantasy,’ and Pocket Doll Studio, the management company, officially relayed the news via a statement. They stated they had discussions and negotiations that took place between them and Yu Junwon’s parents regarding the contract after the program ended. Pocket Doll Studio mentions that they had multiple discussions, more than ten times, with Yu Junwon and his parents about the contract. The contract was written following the standard terms recommended by the Fair Trade Commission.
However, Yu Junwon’s parents requested a revision of the contract, arguing that he achieved first place in the program and therefore should receive a higher profit distribution rate compared to the other members. They argue that despite their attempts to settle this, Yu Junwon’s parents notified them that he would leave without permission twice and ultimately not join the team

Hello. We are Pocket Dolls Studio, the production company for “Boy’s Fantasy” and the management company delegated by Funky Studio.
We would like to address the statement regarding Yu Junwon’s involvement in the fantasy boys group, as reported today.
Yu Junwon, who was selected as a member of the group “Fantasy Boys” through the MBC audition program “Boy’s Fantasy,” is unable to participate in group activities due to unauthorized departure.
Fantasy Boys is a group formed through a survival program with the goal of debut. We sincerely apologize for the fact that the 12 members chosen by the viewers cannot be together.
After the program ended, our company had numerous discussions with Yu Junwon and his parents regarding the contract. Despite the contract being written in accordance with the standard terms and conditions recommended by the Fair Trade Commission, Yu Junwon’s parents requested a revision of the contract, citing that he had achieved first place in the voting in the program compared to other members.
We explained the reasons why it is not possible to adjust the profit distribution rate based on the final voting rankings, as it could raise issues of fairness. However, Yu Junwon’s parents notified us that they would not allow him to join the team, having caused unauthorized departure twice.
Therefore, Fantasy Boys will continue its activities with 11 members, including Kim Kyu-rae, Hong Sung-min, Oh Hyun-tae, Lee Han-bin, Linchi, Kang Min-seo, Hikari, Soul, Kim Woo-seok, Hikaru, and K-Dan.
