GFRIEND fans are also celebrating the member’s surprise meeting. Since they celebrated their 8th anniversary even after the group’s disbandment, fans seem to be looking forward to the possibility of the group’s reunion.

GFRIEND debuted on January 16, 2015, releasing their mini album “Season of Glass”. Since then, they have continued their activities with several albums and drawn good responses.

GFRIEND was disbanded in May 2021 after their agency Source Music was acquired by HYBE. Their disbandment was announced suddenly without even the fans’ awareness, leading to criticism. It was pointed out that HYBE did not consider their fans at all.

Meanwhile, GFRIEND members have continued their activities in the entertainment industry by signing exclusive contracts with different entertainment agencies since the group was disbanded. Eunha, SinB, and Umji have formed a group again and are working as VIVIZ.
