EXO’s Baekhyun Caught Smoking Indoors In Macau, Agency Issues Apology
EXO’s Baekhyun has found himself in trouble after video of him smoking indoors in Macau went viral!
Baekhyun’s agency, INB100 has issued a statement addressing the viral video being spread around of Baekhyun smoking indoors.
On September 16, a video of Baekhyun smoking indoors spread through social media and online communities.
The agency argued that Baekhyun was unaware of indoor smoking rules in Macau, and the criticism grew uncontrollably after the video spread.
The following is the full statement from Baekhyun’s side:
Hello, this is INB100. We sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable regarding the indoor smoking of our artist Baekhyun that is currently circulating on the internet.
At the time, neither Baekhyun nor our staff were aware that Macau prohibits the entry of electronic cigarettes. In the midst of this, while having a meal with the staff after the Macau performance, as the conversation progressed, Baekhyun unconsciously used an electronic cigarette.
Baekhyun deeply regrets disappointing many fans with his careless actions and sincerely bows his head in apology.
Our company and Baekhyun will pay even more attention in the future to ensure that this does not happen again, and we promise not to disappoint fans with such a situation again.
Additionally, we will do our best to show a more mature side.
Once again, we sincerely bow our heads and apologize for causing concern and discomfort to many people. We are sorry.
