EXO Chen is returning to activities!
On April 25, EXO Chen was discharged from the military and returned to normal life, he was welcomed back by fans who were super excited to have him back.
SM Entertainment then surprised fans with a new announcement on the same day revealing their plans to host “SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @ TOKYO” on August 27 and 28. EXO members will be among the performers at this event which will take place at the Tokyo Dome.
Other SM artists such as BoA, Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, and more, will perform at the concert as well.

Chen has been inactive since his military enlistment in October of 2020. Chen announced his marriage in January of 2020 to a non-celebrity girlfriend, the couple welcomed their first daughter in April of that same year. Chen then welcomed another child, a son in 2022.
