Singer Dawn has spoken out about the rumors of reuniting with his ex-girlfriend HyunA and more in a recent interview!
On the 14th, Dawn appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel ‘Wonder K’ segment ‘Self-boarding’. On this day, he took the time to search his name on SNS, online communities, and portal sites and answer questions.
Regarding the fact that he pressed the ‘Like’ button on a post after his breakup with HyunA, Dean said, “We understand each other the best in this world, so we support each other no matter what choice we make. At that time, I really respected and supported her choice. That’s why I pressed ‘Like’. Anyway, that’s how it was. Even if we break up, if a similar situation arises, we will do the same thing. Regardless of the type of relationship I have with HyunA, the important thing is that I love HyunA as a person. Even if I go on a completely different path and am with another person later, I will still love HyunA.”
Dawn also addressed the proposal ring he gave to HyunA in the past, saying, “I didn’t propose with the idea of getting married… I just liked her so much that I wanted to give her a ring. It’s true that it’s common sense to say that ‘if you give a ring, you’re getting married’, but I didn’t have common sense. I just didn’t explain it because I knew we would get married later anyway.”
Dawn also touched on the rumors that linked them both back together saying they’re restarting their relationship, he said, “When we were dating, a photo taken overseas was brought in and rumors of reuniting spread [the photo was taken when they used to date and spread after their breakup]. The reason why HyunA and I don’t say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ about this is because I feel tired of this public opinion. I hope people don’t see this as a relationship issue. Whether we meet or not, we know each other the best, love each other, understand each other, and are on each other’s side. We will continue to do so in the future.”
Dawn also addressed the ridiculous claim by a YouTube video that claimed “HyunA gave Dean a 2 billion won apartment,” he said, “My mother recently heard from a friend whether I really received a 2 billion won apartment. I think she’s worried that I didn’t tell her. I laughed when I saw this video. It’s not true, so don’t be fooled.”
