It has been revealed that beloved actor-idol Lee Jong Hyun has enlisted earlier today quietly.
His agency FNC Entertainment confirmed in a statement to media outlets that has enlisted quietly today, it was previously revealed that he would be enlisting in August, the exact date and location wasn’t revealed out of respect for Lee Jonghyun’s wishes.
Lee Jonghyun is the last CNBLUE member to join the military. Jung Yong Hwa was the first to go, he enlisted back in March. He was soon followed by Lee Jung Shin and Kang Min Hyuk, they both enlisted on the same day on July 31st.
Before he enlisted, he shared two last posts to his instagram following, he was accompanied by his close friends Zico, Choi Tae Joon, Shin Kang Woo and Chanyeol. They shared one last meal together ahead of his military enlistment.
His close friends posed with him for photos, he was sporting a clean shaved cut, he captioned one of his instagram posts with,
“I am off and will be back soon.”
All CNBLUE members are set to be discharged in 2020, wishing Lee Jonghyun a safe return! We’ll miss you!
