On August 28, YouTuber Park Min Jung shared a screenshot to her Instagram story; it was of a direct message sent by Lee Jong Hyun’s official account.

In her story, she captioned,
“Huh, is this really CNBLUE?”
He sent her a couple of messages, here is the translation:
“I really enjoy watching your YouTube videos. Please continue to upload fun videos.
Your belly fat is so cute.”
Naturally, netizens weren’t happy to learn of that. Many heavily criticized him for the ‘so-called’ repenting he’s currently doing. Many pointed out that he hasn’t let go of his bad habits despite the heavy backlash for his involvement in Jung Joon Young chatroom controversy.
As of 4 pm. KST, if you try to search for his name on instagram you won’t be able to find it, it says ‘user not found.’
Netizens believe that Lee Jonghyun deleted his account after becoming aware of the huge backlash he received for allegedly DMing a YouTuber.
