Chuu expresses her displeasure as Blockberry Creative, filed a complaint against her asking for a ban on her entertainment activities.
On February 2nd, Chuu posted an article on her SNS, saying, “I am very tired and really regretful to keep taking a stand over this.”
Last month, Blockberry Creative submitted a petition to the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Korea Entertainment Producers Association to ban Chuu from performing in the entertainment industry. It was because Chuu violated her management contract by tampering with another agency even though she was under Block Berry Creative.
Regarding this, Chuu denied the suspicion of tampering, saying, “Recently, the slanderous articles based on false information seem to have gone too far.”
She continued, “It’s hard to bear for me and the members to be tied up with lies, so I’ll organize my thoughts and respond sooner or later.”
Blockberry Creative and Chuu have had conflicts over settlement issues. Last month, Block Berry Creative removed Chuu from LOONA. They claimed that the reason was that she was abusive toward the staff.
After Chuu left the team, 9 members filed an application for an injunction to suspend the exclusive contract with the court. Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry won the case, while Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Gowon, and Olivia Hye lost. Hyunjin and Vivi did not participate in this lawsuit.
Blockberry Creative is also planning to submit a petition containing a ban on entertainment activities for Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry, who are in dispute with the company.
