EXO’s leader Suho has quietly enlisted in the military.
The day fans have been dreading has come, on May 14, Suho enlisted at the Nonsan Army Training Center in South Chungcheong Province. There, he will undergo four weeks of basic training before working as a public service worker.
Suho chose to enlist quietly without any fan events and his arrival at the Training Center was arranged so that he can go on as quietly as possible due to safety issues.
Suho posted one last photo on his instagram before enlisting; he posted a photo of EXO’s official light stick with the caption, “WE ARE ONE EXO, Let’s Love.”
EXO also shared photos of other members Chanyeol, Chen, Kai, Baekhyun, and Sehun sending off Suho to the military. It marked the first time fans had seen Chen his marriage and baby news.
Lay wasn’t able to be there in person but he made sure to also send off Suho, he posted one of the photos shared on his Instagram stories and captioned,
“Let’s love. Goodbye, leader.”
Xiumin and D.O previously enlisted in the military and Suho is the third group member to do so. Chanyeol, Kai and Baekhyun must also enlist in 2020 according to military requirements.
Fans have been trending the hashtag #LetsMeetAgain_SUHO, and once they saw the group photos Chen’s real name Jongdae also began trending on twitter as well.
