An incident of stabbing occurred at the site of a Japanese awards ceremony where Cha Eun Woo attended!
According to multiple Japanese media reports on the 24th of November, a report was received on the 23rd at around 5:45 p.m. stating that a woman had been stabbed near the K Arena Yokohama, a venue located in Yokohama City, Japan.
According to the Police, a woman in her 40s was stabbed in the abdomen and suffered serious injuries. The assailant fled with the knife, and the police are currently searching for the suspect on charges of inflicting bodily harm.
On the day of the incident, the music awards ceremony “MTV VMAJ 2023” was held at the K Arena Yokohama from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and it ended at 5 p.m.
In particular, Cha Eun Woo attended the ceremony and received the “Global Icon Award” and performed a solo stage.
Regarding this incident, Cha Eun Woo’s agency Fantagio stated to OSEN on the 24th, “We have confirmed the situation on-site after seeing the article” and explained that the incident occurred after Cha Eun Woo returned home after the performance.
