As part of BTS’s 2018 BTS FESTA, the group released a special 1 hour long episode titled “BTS Team Dinner,” the members opened up about reaching their goals and how they deal with emptiness and fear that comes along with it.

In the video, the group had a team dinner and answered various questions about their huge year 2017 and their most recent success with 2018’s album “Love Yourself: Tear.”

Suga picked a question that said,

“2017 was a year with big achievements including ‘BBMAs’, AMAs’, etc. What did these things give you?”

Suga gave a shocking answer, he said,

“It wasn’t the case for me in the BBMAs, but I cried in the shower after we performed at the AMAs. I didn’t cry because I felt like ‘we made it’ but because I was scared.

You know how when you reach something that’s beyond what you ever imagined. There were things that I never imagine that happened to us. While taking a shower I thought about the pressure that I had to endure from now on.”

RM also opened about his struggles and said,

“To be honest, I also felt a bit empty after performing at the AMAs and reaching up there. We have achieved so many things that we didn’t even have as our goals.

But instead of thinking ‘what will we do now since we achieved all we wanted and more than we had expected?’ I want us to think that we have the opportunity [ticket] to go places we’ve never been to before, since we have opened that door.”

Wishing BTS members all the happiness.
