BTS member Jungkook mentioned military service.
On the 25th of May, Jungkook conducted a live broadcast titled “Smart…” through BTS’s official community platform, Weverse.
During the interaction with fans, Jungkook laughed when he saw a comment saying, “We love you in the military.”
He then mentioned member J-Hope, who is currently serving in the military, saying, “Our hyung, Hobi, had his completion ceremony. He sent a selfie in the group chat, and his eyes look more like a man now.”
Jungkook said, “Ah, I have to go (to the military) too. I will go and return admirably,” while energetically singing the national anthem.
Furthermore, Jungkook, who has long hair, revealed that he plans to cut his hair in preparation for his military enlistment.
He said, “When the time comes, I will gradually cut my hair shorter instead of suddenly cutting it. It’s called ‘hair lighting.’ I will continue to cut my hair in a way that you won’t notice right away, and you will think, ‘When did his hair get this short?’ or ‘When did he shave it all off?’ So, I will make it feel more natural for everyone.”
Meanwhile, BTS members are fulfilling their military service obligations according to their individual plans, Jin and J-hope are currently serving in the military.
