Everything BTS touches turns in gold, duh!
November 15 was an important day for a lot of army around the world, it was the day BTS’s “Burn The Stage: The Movie” was released.
The documentary style feature film is the boys’ big screen debut. The documentary gives fans a closer look at what takes place behind the scene of BTS’s successful 2017 tour “2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour.”
The tour had attracted more than 550,000 fans worldwide in 40 concerts in 19 cities around the world.
The movie was already released in YouTube red as a series which premiered on March 28, 2018 and aired its last episode on May 9, 2018.
According to distributor Trafalgar Releasing, the pre-premiere tickets sold for the film surpassed 940,000 worldwide; almost 1 million BTS fans purchased tickets for the movie to support their boys.
Domestically, it has surpassed 150,000 in pre-order tickets. The movie industry is showing lots of interest in the movie and can’t wait to see how it’ll perform in South Korea and worldwide.
Especially since the film has already been released and watched by many fans around the world on YouTube Red. This makes the accomplishments even more savory.
