BTS has set yet another YouTube record!
As of approx. 9:40 KST on November 21, BTS’s hit track “DNA” reached 550 million views on YouTube breaking many records in the process.
The video was released back on September 18, 2017. It took it a year and 2 months to reach this huge new milestone. “DNA” is the title track of BTS’s mini album “Love Yourself: Her.”
This wasn’t the only record it broke upon its release; it has become the fastest Korean group MV to reach the 400, 450 and 500 million views previously.
This is the first time any Korean group managed to reach this amount of views on YouTube. PSY still holds the record for the most viewed Korean music video with “Gangnam Style” but BTS holds a lot of YouTube records for Korean groups in general.
