An OST just did that!

An 8 year-old record has finally been broken and replaced with a new one. BTS V has dethroned PSY to become the Korean soloist with the most No.1s on iTunes charts with his OST “Sweet Night.”

It hasn’t been a while since “Sweet Night” was released and despite being an OST and a track that BTS V didn’t promote it topped many iTunes charts all around the world and recently made history by getting No.1 in 86 countries tying PSY’s record with “Gangnam Style,” but it wasn’t long before the track broke that record and topped iTunes charts in a total of 88 countries.

This means that “Sweet Night” has broken an eight-year record held by the massive hit track that took over the world. As of now, V is the Korean soloist with the most No.1 on iTunes.

To celebrate the magnificent accomplishment, fans trended #HistoryMakerV to celebrate the news on twitter, here are some of their tweets:

Congratulations to BTS V!
