BTS has won two awards from BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards which was held on October 21st (local time).
The annual ceremony was held by BBC Radio 1 at The SSE Arena, Wembley. It honors various artists who do so much to pop culture and are loved by British teenagers.
Unfortunately, BTS was unable to attend the awards show but this didn’t mean that they wouldn’t greet and thank fans for winning two awards.
They won the Best International Group Award, they were competing against 5 Seconds of Summer, The Carters, The Chainsmokers, and Panic! at the Disco.
They also took home the Best Social Media Star Award, they were competing against Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan, Lil Miquela, Billie Eilish, and HRVY.
We are just so proud of @BTS_twt. 💛💞💛💞
Thanks to all your votes, they are this year’s Best Social Media Stars! 🤩Don’t miss their acceptance speech on @bbctwo, tonight at 5:45pm (BST).#R1TeenAwards pic.twitter.com/7DJgIq33Vb
