BTS has recently met the South Korean President Moon Jae In and the first lady Kim Jung Sook on October 14 at the “Resonance of Korean Musicians” concert in Paris, France.
BTS happened to be in the area when the concert was taking place so they confirmed they would be performing at the concert.
This is the first time BTS met the president and the first lady together. The concert was held to promote the friendly relations between Korea and France.
The concert showcased two different sides of Korean music, the traditional side and the Kpop sensation side.
The traditional music was performed by Black Spring and MoonGoGo while BTS performed the Kpop part.
BTS expressed their gratitude for being able to participate in such a meaningful event.
Backstage after the concert finished the president shook hands with the performers including BTS. He even exchanged a hug with RM.
The South Korean president is also currently touring Europe; BTS are also in the middle of their European leg of their sold-out tour.
They are set to perform in Berlin for two nights starting tomorrow and will return to perform in Paris on October 19.
