After a lot of hard work from ARMY it has finally happened!
“DNA” has become the first EVER BTS MV to reach 1 billion views. It reached this milestone on June 1st in the early hours (in Korean standard time). “DNA” is the first ever boy group MV to reach this huge milestone.
The only other Kpop MVs with a billion views are: PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” PSY’s “Gentleman,” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” This makes “DNA” the fourth Kpop MV to reach such a huge view count.
The video was released on September 18, 2017 at 6 p.m. KST, it took the video just over two years, eight months, and 13 days to reach the 1 billion views.
