BTS has set a new record no other group has done on the Billboard 200!

On June 19 local time, Billboard officially announced that BTS’s anthology album “Proof” had debuted at No. 1 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, the chart that ranks the most popular albums in the U.S.

Billboard stated that “Proof” achieved the biggest U.S. sales week of any album by a group thus far in 2022 and only the second highest following the debut week of Harry Styles’ “Harry House.”

“Proof” has become BTS’s 6th album to debut at the top of the charts making them the first and only Korean artist to top the Billboard 200 with six different albums. Added to that, out of the 15 non-English albums to have ever topped the Billboard 200 in the history of the chart, BTS has 6 of those 15 spots.

Congratulations to BTS on their historic achievement!
