BTSJungkook has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement from Big Hit Entertainment, after arriving in Las Vegas for the groups’ Grammy performance and Permission to Dance concert series, Jungkook began experiencing mild sore throat symptoms. On Sunday, March 27, Jungkook took rapid and standard PCR tests and both came back positive for COVID on Monday, 28.

Jungkook is currently under self-quarantine, and other than a sore throat, he has no other symptoms.

Big Hit added that Jungkook’s future activities — including BTS’s scheduled Grammy performance — with the group are currently being discussed with event organizers.

BTS’ hit song “Butter” is nominated for best pop duo/group performance.

Recently, Jungook attracted fans’ attention on Instagram after changing his username. When asked why, Jungook answered, ‘because it was too long…’

We hope Jungkook recovers soon!
