BTS Jin’s “The Astronaut” has broken records with its debut on various charts for the Billboard charts!

For the week ending in November 12, Jin’s “The Astronaut” debuted at no. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the highest debut of any Korean solo song on the chart this decade and also the 3rd highest of all time following PSY’s “Gentleman” (which debuted at No. 12 in 2013) and “Hangover” (No. 26 in 2014).

While other bandmates of Jin debuted on the hot 100, their songs featured other artists.

“The Astronaut” also debuted at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart and World Digital Song Sales. This is Jin’s first time topping either chart as a soloist.

Finally, Jin re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 10 this week, this marks his second entry as a solo artist on the chart.

Jin also became the 3rd member of his group to enter top 10 of Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts as a soloist. The Astronaut” debuted at No. 6 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 10 on the Global 200.

Congratulations to Jin on his impressive achievements!
