According to data released on March 31 by Hanteo Chart, a domestic record sales website, sales of Jimin’s first solo album “FACE,” which was released on March 24, were 1,454,223.
As a result, Jimin set a new record of being the first solo artist to record 1,454,223 sales for an album within the first week. “FACE” sold 1,021,532 copies on March 24, the first day of its release, and Jimin became the first K-pop solo artist to become a million-seller on the first day of album release since Hanteo Chart began its initial tally.
In addition, “FACE” swept the top spots in “Weekly Digital Album Ranking,” “Weekly Album Ranking,” and “Weekly Combined Album Ranking” on the Oricon Chart in Japan. For the first time this year as a solo artist, Jimin won three gold medals on the Japanese Oricon chart “Weekly Music Ranking.”
