BTS Jimin achieved his second entry on the Billboard Hot 100!
On March 27, Billboard announced on its official Twitter account, “Jimin’s first solo album pre-released song ‘Set Me Free Part 2’ entered the ‘Hot 100’ chart (as of April 1) at number 30.” Earlier, Jimin ranked 76th in “Hot 100” with “Vibe” in collaboration with BIGBANG’s Taeyang and this marked his second entry on “Hot 100” this year alone.
Jimin’s first solo album “FACE” pre-released song, “Set Me Free Part 2,” is a hip-hop genre song with a willingness to shake off various emotions from within, including pain, sadness, and emptiness. Jimin also rapped the serious lyrics and melody.
Meanwhile, the title song “Like Crazy” of Jimin’s first solo album “FACE” released on March 24 topped Spotify’s “Daily Top Song Global” chart, the world’s largest music streaming platform. The song entered the second place with 6.63 million streams on March 24, the release date, and jumped two steps to the top on March 26, the third day of its release.
