BTS Becomes The First K-Pop Group To Sweep The Daesang Awards At A Year-End Award Show
BTS continue to make and break their own records!
BTS have done it again, this time at the 2019 Melon Music Awards.
On November 30, The 2019 Melon Music awards were held at the Gocheok Sky Dome and was broadcasted live on Melon and 1theK’s YouTube channel. BTS were among the attendees and the performers, they closed the award show performing some of their biggest 2019 songs, the stage was beautiful and the award show became their own concert.

Before their final performance, BTS had already won Record of the Year, the first Daesang (grand prize) of the night. After their performance ended, BTS took home all the rest of the daesang awards.
BTS took home Song of The Year for Boy With Luv, Album Of The Year for Map of the Soul: Persona and Artist of the Year as well. BTS is now the only Korean group to win all daesang awards at a Korean award show ever.
During each acceptance speech, BTS thanked ARMY for always being by their side, they also thanked Big Hit, the staff and everyone who helped them reach this point in their careers.
