The entries for The Billboard Hot 100 Chart are finally in and BTS is on the top 10 chart!
On March 2 local time, Billboard released the top 10 for this week’s Hot 100 chart. Fans have been patiently waiting for this because BTS released their comeback last week; they wanted to know how high they’ll rank.
BTS grabbed the fourth spot on the chart, which is their highest EVER to date and the highest score for a Korean group as well.
This is the third BTS song to rank in the top 10 of the Hot 100. Previously, “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey peaked at number 8 and it was their highest entry to date. While “Fake Love” debuted at No. 10 in 2018.
This also makes BTS the Korean artist with the most top 10s in the Hot 100 ever breaking PSY’s record which he held with two songs (No. 2 with “Gangnam Style” in 2012 and No. 5 with “Gentleman” in 2013).
ON” also scores No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 86,000 downloads sold, this is BTS’s best sales week for a song and best EVER for any title track since Taylor Swift’s “Me” featuring Brendon Urie debuted with 193,000 in 2019.
Recently, BTS topped the Billboard 200 chart taking No.1 with “Map of the Soul: 7” which became their fourth release to take the number one spot on the chart.
Fans are trending multiple hashtags on twitter to celebrate the happy news.
