BREAKING: Brave Girls Announce Disbandment, All Four Members Leave Brave Entertainment + To Release One Final Goodbye Song
The girl group Brave Girls (Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, Yuna) could not make it past seven years.
Brave Entertainment announced on the 16th, “The exclusive contracts of Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna will expire today. As a result, Brave Girls will end their official activities with the digital single ‘Goodbye,’ which will be released today.”
According to various media reports, Brave Girls is expected to release a new song, “Goodbye.”
Instead, Brave Girls were close to the so-called “7-year jinx” standard. When idols debut and sign their first agency contract, it is generally a 7-year contract, and at the time of re-contracting, the next move is decided, so the term was created.
Although Brave Girls’ song “Rollin'” released in March 2017 gained renewed popularity through a compilation video of YouTube comments after 4 years and succeeded in a chart reverse trend, and they belatedly rose to stardom, showing their presence at the year-end awards ceremony, they unfortunately couldn’t continue this success.
This is Brave Entertainment statement:
Wishing the best for the Brave Girls members.
