BLACKPINK’s Jennie has some exciting news to share with fans!

On the 9th of September, Jenny’s agency, OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER), announced that she has signed a partnership with Columbia Records, a major U.S. record label, and will make her solo comeback in October with a new single.

Columbia Records is a prominent U.S. label under Sony Music Entertainment, representing global pop stars like Beyoncé, Adele, and Harry Styles. The label plans to fully support Jenny’s solo activities.

This solo release marks Jenny’s first solo track in about a year since her special single “You & Me”, which was released last October. Fans worldwide have eagerly awaited her return.

Last year, Jenny also collaborated with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on the track “One of the Girls,” which accumulated over 1 billion streams on Spotify and remained on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for 20 consecutive weeks. She became the first Korean female solo artist to earn a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with this achievement.
