BLACKPINK’s Jennie Shows Support For Singer WOODZ’s Comeback, How Are They Acquainted With Each Other?
BLACKPINK’s Jennie has shown support for WOODZ’s latest release.
On May 4 at 6 p.m. KST, WOODZ came back with his fourth mini album “COLORFUL TRAUMA” and its title track “I hate you.” A couple of hours later, Jennie took to her Instagram stories to share a screenshot of herself streaming his newest release “Hope to be like you,” one of his tracks from his newest mini-album.
Jennie also tagged him and wrote, “Congratulations, Seungyoun-ie! [his real name].”
WOODZ later re-posted the photo and thanked her with a heart emoji.
Many fans were surprised but happy to see it, so how does Jennie know WOODZ?
Turns out, they both trained under the same company. WOODZ trained alongside Jennie at YG Entertainment. He’s since left the agency and debuted in 2014 as part of UNIQ, later, he debuted as a member of X1 and he’s now working as a soloist.
