BLACKPINK’s Jennie shines in the newly released trailer of HBO’s upcoming Series “The Idol.”
Recently, it was confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie will make her acting debut in HBO’s upcoming series “The Idol.” Previously, it was reported that she was offered an acting role in the upcoming series created by The Weeknd and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson.
“The Idol” focuses on a pop singer (played by Lily-Rose Depp) who strikes up a romance with an enigmatic cult leader (played by The Weeknd).
The newly released trailer shows the main cast which includes Troye Sivan, Susanna Son, Moses Sumney, Jane Adams, Dan Levy, Eli Roth, Rachel Sennott, Hari Nef, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Mike Dean, Ramsey, and Hank Azaria. Jennie is credited as Jennie Ruby Jane in the trailer.
