This marks the beginning of BLACKPINK’s promotional activities after signing contact with Interscope Records, which is a label under Universal Music, the world’s largest record company.
Interscope Records is a powerful agency that houses so many popular artists such as Lady Gaga, Eminem, Maroon 5, Kendrick Lamar, U2, Madonna, The Black Eyed Peas, Lana Del Rey, Dr. Dre, Selena Gomez, Imagine Dragons, and more.
Not too long ago, Yang Hyun Suk shared a photo with Interscope Records Chairman and Universal Music Group Chairman signaling great things to happen to BLACKPINK in 2019.
“Had a great time in LA meeting with Universal Music Group Chairman, Lucian Grainge & Interscope Records Chairman, John Janick
All of you can expect many great things to happen for BLACKPINK in 2019.”
Fans expect BLACKPINK to begin actively promoting in America soon in effort to break into the market.
