BLACKPINK might be joining the highly competitive June music release with a new album.
On April 26, a Korean news outlet posted an article discussing some of the most anticipated comebacks of the second half of 2022. While discussing Lim Young Woong and BTS’s comeback, an industry insider is quoted saying BLACKPINK will join June’s comeback rush.
Jennie recently hinted at their pending comeback by saying, ‘we will come back soon, please wait,’ in one of her YouTube channel videos.
If BLACKPINK comes back with new music in June, it will mark the group’s first release in one year and a half since “THE ALBUM” in October of 2020.
YG Entertainment has not yet issued a comment on the report.
