BLACKPINK has set a new record!

The collaboration track “Sour Candy” with Lady Gaga has made its debut on the Hot 100 and its making headlines everywhere.

On June 8, Billboard announced that “Sour Candy” takes the No. 33 position this week on the Hot 100, the chart that ranks the top songs in the U.S.

This is an amazing feat for Kpop girl groups and a first time for BLACKPINK, this is the first time they entered the top 40 on the hot 100. Their previous highest peak on the hot 100 was No.41 with set “Kill This Love.”

The collaboration track is one of the songs included on Lady Gaga’s sixth album “Chromatica,” and marks Lady Gaga’s first ever collaboration with a Kpop group.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga!
