BLACKPINK Breaks Record For Fastest Kpop Girl Group To Reach The 40, 50 And 60 Million Views

BLACKPINK continues to break records with their most recent comeback with their first mini album “Square Up.”

The title track “DDU-DU DDU-DU” was released back on June 15, 2018 at 06:00 p.m. KST, the MV broke through the 10 million views record in just 6 hours after its release, it also became the fastest Kpop girl group MV to reach the 30 million views and also the MV with the most views for a kpop girl group in the first 24 hours.





The MV was obviously going to break through the 40, 50 and 60 million views in no time.

It reached 40 million views in a day and three hours, thus breaking TWICE’s record they set with “What is Love?”





The MV then hit the 50 million views in two days and two hours, it also beat TWICE’s record they set with “What is Love?” They had reached that milestone in about eight days.

Lastly, and most recently, the MV broke through the 60 million views on June 19; it reached it in only 3 days and 10 hours. They also broke TWICE’s record set with “Likey,” the MV had reached the 60 million views in 12 days.
