The title song “DDU-DU DDU-DU” has broken so many records, they first broke the record for the fastest Kpop girl group MV to reach the 10 million views, it reached this milestone in a record breaking 6 hours.
Next up was the 20 million record, they had broke that wall in less than 14 hours. They also broke the record for the fastest Kpop girl group MV to reach the 30 million in little under 24 hours.
They then broke the record for the most viewed Kpop girl group MV in 24 hours. The video reached a recording breaking 33.7 million views in 24 hours. Which is; by a long mile; the most viewed Kpop girl group MV in the first 24 hours.
BLACKPINK might have not been able to break BTS’s records set by their most recent hit track “Fake Love,” but they did set a new peak that would be very difficult for any girl Kpop group to break.
The MV also garnered 2.5 million likes in the first 24 hours. The MV also was the top trending YouTube video in the US for a long time during the first 24 hours.
“DDU-DU DDU-DU” has also topped all major real time charts less than 2 hours after its release.
