BLACKPINK has set another historical record with their new album “Born Pink” on the Billboard 200 Chart!

Girl group BLACKPINK’s second full-length album “Born Pink” has been on the “Top 5” list for two consecutive weeks on the Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200.”

According to Billboard, the album succeeded in maintaining the top spot by ranking fourth in the second week, down by three notches from the previous week.

The sales of “Born Pink” were estimated to be worth 40,000 units, down 60% from the previous week.

“Billboard 200” calculates the ranking of album consumption by adding the sales volume of traditional albums such as physical albums, the number of streams converted into album sales (SEA), and the number of digital music downloads converted into album sales (TEA).

BLACKPINK sold about 102,000 copies of the album last week, becoming the first K-pop girl group to top the Billboard 200. It was the fourth time that a K-pop singer topped the Billboard 200 after BTS, SuperM, and Stray Kids.
