It has been finally confirmed, the number of BLACKPINK’s comeback MV “DDU-DU DDU-DU” views has been confirmed to be 36.2 million. A spokesperson from YouTube confirmed the number.
The MV was released on June 15, it achieved a remarkable number of views with the first 24 hours of its release, but we’ve been waiting for official YouTube statement to confirm the exact number.
This makes “DDU-DU DDU-DU” the most viewed Kpop MV within the first 24 hours, and its also the second most viewed music MV within the first 24 hours as well, its also the biggest 24-hour debut for an MV in 2018 so far.
The most viewed music MV is held by Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” which achieved 43.2 million views within the first day.
