Former BIGBANG member Seungri and actress Yoo Hye Won reportedly went on a trip to Bangkok together.

On March 22nd, Dispatch reported that Seungri and Yoo Hye Won enjoyed their trip to Bangkok.

The media reported that informant A, who was traveling locally, captured Seungri and Yoo Hye Won.

According to Mr. A, Seungri spent the last 5 days at a luxury hotel in Bangkok. It is said that Seungri and Yoo Hye Won walked around the lobby holding hands affectionately.

Mr. A said, “The two naturally had skinship like any other couple but they were wary of Koreans.”

Seungri and Yoo Hye Won were rumored to be dating in 2018 and 2020. However, Seungri’s side did not confirm or deny the dating rumors.

Dispatch said, however, that Seungri and Yoo Hye Won’s love remained the same. Meanwhile, Seungri, who was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison on charges of arranging prostitution and gambling abroad, was released last February.

Seungri was pointed out as a key figure in the club Burning Sun scandal that broke out in November 2018. Seungri faced several charges, including allegations of sexual favors.

Afterward, in June 2019, Seungri was charged with violating the Prostitution Punishment Act, business embezzlement, destroying evidence, Special Act on Sexual Violence, and violating the Food Sanitation Act. In January 2020, he was handed over to trial without detention.

In March 2020, Seungri, who entered the 6th Army Recruit Training Center located in Cheorwon, Gangwon-do, received a military trial from September 2020, when he was a private soldier. During the trial, Seungri denied all charges except for violating the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act. However, the first trial judge found Seungri guilty of all charges and sentenced him to 3 years in prison, an additional fine of 1.1569 billion won, and registration of personal information.

In January of last year, the 2nd trial High Military Court acknowledged all charges as in the 1st trial but accepted Seungri’s claim that the punishment was too heavy and reduced the sentence to 1 year and 6 months in prison. In May of that year, the Supreme Court confirmed a sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison, saying that there was no problem with the lower court’s judgment.

Seungri, who was imprisoned in a military prison as a soldier, was transferred to a civilian prison after being discharged. Under the Military Service Act, soldiers who receive a final sentence of 1 year and 6 months or more in prison are automatically discharged.
