BIG HIT Music has issued a statement addressing the crediting of BTS Jungkook in his newest music video for “SEVEN.”
Recently, there have been claims within the BTS fandom that the artist credits for Jungkook’s solo single ‘SEVEN (feat. Latto)’ music video were not registered, resulting in a 0 score on the YouTube section of the Billboard Hot 100 chart calculation, one of the main criteria for the chart.
Some fans expressed concerns and criticized HYBE and Big Hit Music, stating that if the credits were not properly reflected during the Billboard scoring period, it could significantly impact the Hot 100 ranking, causing their hard work to go in vain.
Big Hit Music explained to JTBC Entertainment News Team that the video and performance video were accurately registered under the artist name Jungkook on the YouTube system.
They further emphasized that there are no issues with the YouTube data calculation.
Jungkook’s solo single ‘SEVEN’ achieved remarkable success, topping the global Spotify Daily Top Songs chart with 15,995,378 streams. Additionally, it claimed the top spot on the latest daily digital single ranking released by Japan’s Oricon.
