Why Big Hit Was Criticized by Netizens For Sharing This Article About Comparing TXT To BTS

Published Categorized as Kpop

Big Hit Entertainment caused confusion and backlash with its most recent tweet.

On November 12, Big Hit Entertainment shared an article with the title “More elaborate than BTS… TXT spreads their world vision.”

The tweet was deleted shortly after but Korean fans of both groups weren’t happy with Big Hit not double checking before sharing news articles. Big Hit official twitter account has more than 11.7 million followers and is obviously run by admins who should be more responsible to align the message of the agency with the content they share to social media.

Some netizens think Big Hit is trying to make TXT more popular by comparing them to BTS, while other dismissed that because Big Hit rarely ever tries to bring both groups up in the same sentence in a way that compares them both.

Netizens also took aim at the reporter who wrote such a misleading article attempting to stir controversy when both TXT and BTS fandoms are extremely nice and supportive of each other, many think its stupid to try and compare both groups who are at a drastically different stages with their careers simply because they come from the same agency. Some accused that reporter of previously trying to shade BTS in the past as well, although that isn’t verified.

Regardless, the news made its way to Korea and many began sharing their thoughts on the subject. Here are a couple of netizens comments on this matter:

“ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋas soon as I saw it I thought of YGㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.”

“Big hit is seriously stupid.”

“F*ck .. why are you comparing groups of the same company?”

“The staff in charge looks stupid.”

“Big Hit f*ckers… there isn’t anything they do that I like.”

“Who is managing big hit twitter account? do you want to get paid? why do you work for a company that you don’t have feelings for the singer of your company?”

“This reporter was criticized before for writing about BTS. Can big hit team please check more properly next time before posting?”

“I don’t know about world view but I hope that TXT songs become more popular, I like them since they’re Bangtan’s juniors.”

“I love BTS but I am tired of the way big hit works.”

and many more.

  1. Tired of the way Bighit work? Is there some things Bighit really badly manage that I am not aware of? I personqlly think Bighit is quite a good company…

Also it’s ironic how in Youtube comment sections, Moas, Armys everyone really urge not to compare the 2 groups and then the company itself promote a article comparing them (Pls Bighit learn from this!)
