Rapper San E has publicly targeted singers BE’O and MC Mong (Shin Dong Hyun) over unpaid income dispute.

On the 14th of May, San E posted a DM (direct message) that MC Mong had sent him in the past on his social media.

In the DM, MC Mong said to San E, “You’ve gone beyond the basic level with BE’O” and “I will sue you from the Fair Trade Commission to the National Tax Service.”

He also mentioned that San E conspired with others and threatened BE’O with a recorded voice message.

In response, San E wrote, “No reasonable person sends this kind of DM. I don’t use my father’s disability for blackmail.”

Addressing BE’O, he said, “After 3 years of investment and a successful contract renewal, you demanded contract termination and called your mother, didn’t fulfill your schedule, and said you never contacted other planning companies.”

He added, “Agree to upload the unedited recording of the conversation related to the incident. If I or the agency have done something wrong, I will accept punishment.”

Big Planet Made, the agency representing BE’O, indicated that they will respond with strong legal action to his targeted remarks. They stated, “While avoiding mentioning unpaid income, San E’s representative continues to engage in personal attacks and targeted criticisms against BE’O and MC Mong.”

According to Big Planet Made, San E terminated his exclusive contract with BE’O and received 209 million won as an upfront payment in exchange for transferring the copyright neighboring rights related to BE’O to the company. “San E’s representative is intentionally ignoring these facts and consistently resorting to ‘mudslinging’ emotional responses against MC Mong, who was considerate of BE’O as a junior,”

The first hearing related to this case between the two companies is scheduled for June 13 at the Seoul Central District Court.
