YG Entertainment’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER faced a broadcasting challenge as one of their double title tracks, “CLIK CLAK,” from their first album DRIP, was deemed unsuitable for KBS broadcasts.

On November 6, KBS’s music review board ruled “CLIK CLAK” as ineligible due to lyrics referencing specific brand names, which violates the broadcasting regulations on advertising restrictions (Article 46). Despite this, other tracks on DRIP, including the second title track, “DRIP,” were approved.

The decision means that BABYMONSTER can choose to revise the lyrics in question to submit the song for re-evaluation, aiming to make it broadcast-compatible.

The pre-released music video for “CLIK CLAK” has already shown strong engagement, surpassing 10 million views on YouTube within 21 hours of release, showcasing high anticipation for BABYMONSTER’s comeback.
