B.I has been confirmed to step down from the MC position of the upcoming DJ survival program “WET!” after the program “WET! : Wolrd EDM Trend” postponed the airing to January next year.
On November 9, the “WET!” side said, “We decided to completely reschedule the airing timings of ‘WET!’ and postpone it to January next year, in light of our national mourning period last week.“
As a result, B.I, who was in charge of hosting, also said that it was difficult to participate in the program in the future due to scheduled overseas commitments. The “WET!” side confirmed by stating, “B.I finished recording the first episode, and since then, it has become inevitable to adjust his appearance from the recording, so please understand this point before the program is aired. We will work hard to produce the program to perfection during the period.”
“WET!” is a mega-sized DJ survival that will dominate the Korean EDM scene, drawing a real battle between the nation’s top DJ labels with total prize money of 100 million won ($73,000).
