B.A.P Himchan Sentenced To Prison For Indecent Act By Compulsion

B.A.P’s Himchan has reiceved the verdict at his first trial over charges of indecent act by compulsion.

On February 24, the Seoul Central District Court sentenced Himchan to 10 months in prison and ordered he complete 40 hours of a sexual violence treatment program.

The court stated that after examining the victim’s testimony and the evidence, it supports the facts charged, thus he was found guilty. The judge also added that he hasn’t been forgiven by the victim; the court didn’t place him in detention today so he’s given a chance to seek forgiveness from the victim.

Himchan was charged with committing an indecent act by compulsion against a woman in her twenties (referred to as “A”) at a guest house in Namyangju on July 24, 2018. According to A, at the time, there had been three men and three women including herself and Himchan, they were drinking together at the house at the time of the incident. The act took place without her consent.
