ATEEZ broke their own record on the U.S. Billboard chart by landing No.3 on “Billboard 200” Charts with their new album making them the 5th K-pop group in History to do so.
According to the Billboard website on August 7, ATEEZ’s “The World EP.1: Movement” ranked third on the “Billboard 200.”
ATEEZ first entered the chart at No. 42 with its seventh mini-album “Zero: Fever Part.3” released in September last year, followed by No. 3 with their new album, proving their prominent rise in popularity.
“Billboard 200” decides the ranking by summing up the actual album sales, the number of digital music streaming (SEA), and the number of downloads (TEA) converted into album sales.
On this chart, ATEEZ drew attention by ranking third after Beyonce, who released her first full-length album in six years, and Bad Bunny, who has been in soaring for a long time on the chart.
ATEEZ is achieving a series of “Career High” with “The World EP.1: Movement” with 930,000 initial sales, first place on terrestrial music shows since its debut, and 10 million views on YouTube in 12 hours after the release of the title song “Guerrilla.”
ATEEZ will hold world tours in Seoul, Anaheim, Phoenix, Chicago, Toronto, Canada, and Chiba, Japan, starting in October.
