ASTRO’s Rocky And Park Bo Yeon are rumored to be dating but their agencies response to the situation is getting attention.
ASTRO’s Rocky And Park Bo Yeon were involved in dating rumors when netizens began to claim she was spotted attending his musical which aired on October 30. It was also discovered that Park Bo Yeon co-wrote the lyrics and did the narration for Rocky’s solo track “S#1.” on ASTRO’s album “Drive to the Starry Road.”
This fueled the rumors even more. What followed were two different statements that are confusing fans.
Park Bo Yeon’s agency Management KOO came out with a statement first to deny the rumors stating they have checked with the actress and she says they’re “close acquaintances.” They claimed they were not dating.
However, ASTRO’s Rocky’s agency then came out with a statement that contradicts what Park Bo Yeon’s agency said. They wrote, “the two met while working together in a web drama. Following the project, Park Bo Yeon, who loves writing, worked together with Rocky to compose a song.” They added, “they are in the stage of getting to know each other little by little with good feelings.”
The agency concluded their statement by apologizing for delivering such news during the mourning period over the Itaewon tragedy, “It’s regrettable to deliver this news during the mourning period, we ask your understanding of the delay.”
Now fans are confused. While its unlikely such a scenario happens, it did happen in the past with a couple of other idols dating news.
Rocky debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016, while Park Bo Yeon started her career with the web drama “One Fine Week” in 2019. She’s currently starring in the SBS drama “Cheer Up.”
