ASTRO member Moonbin’s funeral will not be open to the public, Fantagio said in an official statement.
On the afternoon of the 21st, Fantagio stated, “Following the wishes of the family, Moonbin’s funeral and burial on the 22nd will not be open to the public. We ask for your generous understanding so that the ASTRO members and the family can send off the deceased beautifully.”
Finally, the agency expressed their gratitude to everyone who sent their condolences.
ASTRO’s agency, Fantagio, announced early in the morning of April 19 that ASTRO member Moonbin had passed away, various media outlets initially reported on the news quoting police officials.
The wake was held at the Seoul Asan Hospital funeral home and was managed by his younger sister, Moon Sua. The other members are accompanying the deceased on his final journey.
After the news of the death of Moonbin, Cha Eun Woo returned to Korea urgently from the United States where he had schedule to carry out. Members Sanha and Jinjin are guarding the funeral hall, and member MJ, who is serving in the military, received an emergency leave and headed to the funeral hall. Former member Rocky has also arrived at the funeral hall, he had left the group earlier this year. Various kpop idols have sent heartfelt letters mourning his sudden tragic passing and various events in the industry have also been delayed as a result.
